Shire launches TT22e-DC double-cab electric tow tractor

Shire, the aviation brand born from Belgian engineering firm M-ECS, has launched the TT22e-DC — a double-cabin, five-seat electric baggage tractor built on an 80V, 67.2 kWh Li-ion battery platform.

The launch extends Shire's first range of purpose-built electric tractors for baggage and cargo operations — vehicles that account for an estimated 25–30% of ground handling emissions at airports.
